This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for subscriptions to Kaleidoscope MX.
It is designed to be fair to users and compliant with payment provider requirements.

1. Subscription Plans

Kaleidoscope MX offers the following plans:

  • Free — 1 space, 100 nodes
  • Plus (£6/month) — 3 spaces, 500 nodes per space
  • Pro (£12/month) — 10 spaces, unlimited nodes

All paid plans are billed monthly.
There are no annual plans and no free trials.


2. 14-Day Refund Window

For paid subscriptions (Plus and Pro), you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, provided that:

  • The request is made within 14 calendar days of the charge, and
  • There is no evidence of abuse, misuse, or fraudulent activity.

This 14-day refund window applies only to the first payment of a subscription.


3. After the 14-Day Period

After the 14-day refund window has passed:

  • Subscription payments are non-refundable
  • You may cancel at any time to stop future billing
  • Cancellation does not refund the current billing period
  • Your paid features remain active until the end of the paid month

4. Refunds We May Grant at Any Time

Regardless of the 14-day window, we may issue a full or partial refund if:

  • You were charged more than once for the same period
  • A billing or technical error occurred
  • You were charged after cancelling before renewal
  • You were unable to access the service due to a verified issue on our side

5. Refunds We Do Not Provide

Refunds are not available for:

  • Change of mind after the 14-day period
  • Partially used subscription time
  • Forgetting to cancel before renewal
  • Downgrades after a billing cycle has started
  • Not using the service during the billing period
  • Reaching plan limits (spaces or nodes)
  • Issues caused by unsupported devices, browsers, or third-party services

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Go to /contact
  2. Provide:
    • Your account email
    • Date of the charge
    • Subscription plan (Plus or Pro)
    • Reason for the request

We aim to respond within 7 business days.

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method.


7. Chargebacks

If a chargeback is initiated without contacting us first, your account may be temporarily restricted while the issue is reviewed.

We strongly encourage contacting us via /contact so we can resolve issues quickly and fairly.


8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
